These runners are woven by Afghan tribes people from the Kundoz region of North Eastern Afghanistan. Whilst the knot count of such runners is no more than medium/low the use of local wools for both the pile and the foundation ensure that these runners are both hard wearing and durable.
This runner measures 7 feet 8 inches long by 2 feet 8 inches wide. ( 2.34 x 0.82 metres ).
