This runner is woven in the Afghan/Pakistan border area using hand spun wools knotted on to a strong cotton foundation. Colours are soft and mellow and have a 'broken' or variegated look to them rather than solid blocks of colour. This is due to the skill of the weaver and the subsequent washing processes.

This runner measures 5 feet 9 inches long by 2 feet 2 inches wide. ( 1.76 x 0.66 metres ).
