This beautiful fine rug is woven using hand spun wools knotted on to a strong cotton foundation. Colours are soft and mellow and have a 'broken' or variegated look to them rather than solid blocks of colour.

This means harmonising these types of rugs with existing colours in a room or setting is easier to achieve.

Using local wools these rugs are deliberately cut quite tight in the pile thereby giving a crisp definition to the geometric design.

However they are nonetheless very hardwearing and so make ideal hallway rugs and are indeed suitable for all applications in the home.
