This very fine hand knotted Indian runner is woven using a high quality wool with silk detailing, onto a sturdy cotton foundation. The wool is very fine, has a soft velvety feel and is imported from New Zealand or Australia. These rugs and runners really are very special and their quality needs be seen to be fully appreciated.

The warm rich red ground colour and cream border help to highlight an amazing range of further subtle colours. These include blues, creams, pink, greens and a mustard gold colour.

The design is based on the old Persian Mahi design seen most often in Tabriz weaving.
