These runners feature hand spun wools with predominantly natural dyes in a striped design that is loosely based on the tribal Persian Gebbeh style of weaving with each piece being both individual and unique. The rugs are still woven by hand, as with all of our rugs and runners this time by Afghan Weavers in the Pakistan border areas.

This type of runner is quite unique and quite different to other types of Oriental Rugs. However it is very noticeable that when they are placed in a room the colours in the rug seem to 'switch on' to any corresponding colours within the room. This makes them ideal for decorating.

They are also suitable for conservatories, bedrooms and playrooms as there is a fun element to their designs and a cheerful side to the bright, harmonious colours used.
